The CW network and Virgin America celebrate the premiere of “Fly Girls,” the network’s new reality docu-series that takes a 360-degree look at the airline’s jet-setting teammates. The star-studded premiere party will be held inside Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo Las Vegas.

Guests will enjoy complimentary hors d’ourves and cocktails and view the premiere episode in a private screening room. The series will debut on March 24, 2010 on The CW.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Team Front Row Motorsports with Yates Racing, has signed a sponsorship deal with the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on Las Vegas Strip that will showcase the resort’s logo on two of its cars during this weekend’s Shelby American 500 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“Front Row Motorsports with Yates Racing is thrilled to get together with Planet Hollywood. Las Vegas is always a fun race, and to get such a huge player like Planet Hollywood on board with our Ford Fusions will make it even better. I know they have a lot of excitement over there at the casino, and we put on a pretty good show at the speedway, too. For a fan, sounds like a perfect weekend.” said Bob Jenkins, owner of Front Row Motorsports with Yates Racing.

The resort and casino’s logo will be displayed on the lower-rear quarter panels of  Travis Kvapil’s No. 34 and David Gilliland’s No. 38 Ford Fusions. The partnership is a perfect combination of the high stakes and fast action of both Las Vegas entertainment and NASCAR racing.

G’day mate! Seems the UFC has ventured on down unda for their latest installment, and it looks to be a decent night of walloping for convicts and Americans alike. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez get to pretend that Brock Lesnar gives a crap about defending his belt, while the once-feared Wanderlei Silva and the once-relevant Michael Bisping get another shot at salvaging their waning career. So put another shrimp on the barbie, ’cause here are some predictions!

• Mirko CroCop gets another shot in the Octagon, and as it’s not on US soil (and under the watchful eye of an athletic commission with a post-fight drug test requirement), he actually stands a chance at winning.
• I bet Ben Rothwell thinks back on those days when he dominated in the IFL and gets all wistful and teary.

Vancouver and Whistler will host the XXI Olympic Winter Games and the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games from 12 to 21 March 2010.

The seven winter Olympic sports that will be on show in Vancouver are Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Curling, Ice Hockey, Luge, Skating and Skiing.

PartyPoker.com has announced that WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, professional poker player Vanessa Rousso and French high stakes cash legend David Benyamine have joined the line-up for PartyPoker.com Premier League IV in Las Vegas from the February 12th – 18th, 2010.

Both Negreanu and Benyamine are among the most popular poker pros on the circuit, with over $12 million in combined career earnings. Rounding up the players lineup is French-American poker talent and Team PokerStars member, Vanessa Rousso, who will add a little glamour as the only female player invited to play this year’s event.

“There was only one target when selecting a female player for the league. Vanessa has become a huge force in poker and her win at the EPT High Rollers event coupled with her runners-up finish at the NBC Heads-Up Championship as well as a string of WSOP cashes has made her, in my opinion, the world’s number one female player right now.” commented Eddie Hearn from Matchroom Poker.

This year’s line up will also feature 2009 Poker Hall of Fame inductee Mike Sexton, J.C. Tran, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Roland de Wolfe, Luke Schwartz, multiple WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth and the newest member of Team Party Poker, Tony G. With ten players for the $100,000 buy-in Main Event already confirmed, there are now only two seats left for the Premier League IV. One seat will come from a Team Party play-off, while the final seat will go to an online poker qualifier. A total of 16 players who all fly out to Las Vegas to play in a Premier League Poker play-off to see which one of the 16 will  join 11 professional players in Premier League Poker IV. The  online qualifiers will play a short series of play-off sit & go’s in Las Vegas and the eventual winner will win a $100,000 buy-in to take part in the main Premier League event.
