I know it’s a little too early to talk about Super Bowl XLV already but since there’s really nothing much going on with football season over, we will.

And just in case you didn’t know, Super Bowl XLV will be staged in Jerry Jones’ ridiculously huge Cowboys Stadium. And since this will be huge for Jones’ unbelievable structure, having his Cowboys play will just be perfect.

But can the Dallas Cowboys compete in next season’s Super Bowl? Will they get the chance to play for all the marbles in front of all their fans in Texas?

After a strong finish to the season for the first time in… forever, and a nucleus of talent in its prime, Tony Romo and the rest of the Cowboys are sure poised to be legitimate contenders for the next 4-5 seasons. Their job is to win a title during that time.

Of course, the Cowboys still need to shore up the talent in a few areas like the offensive line, the safety position and their receiver corps. But there’s no reason to think they won’t get enough help in those areas to compete at an even higher level next season.

We already know who are the starters, now it’s time to familiarize ourselves with the reserves.

The 2010 NBA All-Star Game is just around the corner as the NBA’s midseason classic will officially shift the attention to hoops with football season officially over. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade lead the East as they take on Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony of the West.

As far as the reserves are concerned, we have a few first-timers. Four first-timers come from the Eastern Conference; Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford, Charlotte Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace and 2009 Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls.

Completing the East reserves are Toronto’s Chris Bosh, Atlanta’s Joe Johnson and Boston’s Paul Pierce.

Rondo is the second All-Star from the Draft class of 2006, joining the Blazers’ Brandon Roy, who earned his third All-Star selection this year. Horford joins the Thunder’s Kevin Durant as the first All-Stars from the Draft class of 2007 while Rose is all alone as the first All-Star from the class of 2008.

Derrick Rose will have a very busy weekend in Dallas. He and his fellow sophomores will take on the rookies in the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam on All-Star Friday and as the reigning PlayStation Skills Challenge champion, he’ll likely defend his title on All-Star Saturday.

Bettors take a trip inside the Octagon before they wet their pants watching the Super Bowl this Sunday.

And in case you didn’t get that, businessman extraordinaire and UFC President Dana White managed to squeeze his little UFC pay per view event right before Super Bowl XLIV.

You read it, before we get to see the Colts and the Saints play for the championship in Miami, Randy Couture and Mark Coleman, two Hall of Famers inside the Octagon, will headline UFC 109: Relentless as both try to make their way back to the title picture in the heavyweight division.

UFC 109 on Saturday, February 6 has 11 bouts on the card including the headliner that includes Randy Couture and Mark Coleman. There are five fights on the pay-per-view portion of the card and six preliminary bouts, two of which will be televised on Spike TV.

UFC 109 has a lot of big UFC odds favorites and that is somewhat unusual. Randy Couture is listed as -450 in UFC odds at SBG Global for his bout against Mark Coleman.

Not many people are giving Mark Coleman much of a chance. These two fighters were supposed to meet almost 12 years ago in UFC 17 but Couture was injured and pulled out. Can you believe that?

With all the hype surrounding Super Bowl XLIV this Sunday, BetUS.com wants all of you to bet on a couple of movie stars who are having some sort of ”love spat” if you will.

Of course, since most of you still fantasize about Angelina Jolie, those folks from BetUS.com know ya’ll will bet on these betting odds anyway since the Super Bowl is still more than a couple of days away and you don’t have anything else to do.

And in case you haven’t heard, there are rumors that claim Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are splitting up. Of course, we have no idea if the rumors are actually true are not but as far as Brangelina is concerned, the Hollywood couple were having dinner when the rumors broke out.

So where did the rumors come from? Apparently, it all began after Brad Pitt’s real estate purchase. Pitt bought a new house next door to the one he currently shares with Jolie and according to the rumors, the house Pitt bought is going to be a bachelor pad so he and Jolie can split up.

The rumors also claim that Pitt wanted to live next door so he can still be close enough to the kids.

However, according to TMZ.com, the house in question was actually bought back in August of last year, that means Pitt already bought the house waaay before any of the rumors about them splitting up came out. TMZ also explained that Pitt bought the house so he could expand the sprawling estate he and Angelina already own.

American actor, author, comedian, voice actor, and professional TNA wrestler, Mick Foley will perform three dates of his popular Total Extreme Comedy starring Mick Foley, including a show scheduled to take place in Las Vegas the night before the 2010 NFL Super Bowl.

Foley, best known for his wrestling alter egos - Mankind, Dude Love, and Cactus Jack - will  make three stops in Baltimore, Maryland at the Baltimore Comedy Factory on February 3rd,  a show at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel and Casino on February 6th  and a final show on March 5th in Manchester, New Hampshire at the Palace Theater

Mick Foley will bring a hilarious routine featuring “inside” jokes and stories about his experience in the wrestling industry, his personal experience with wrestling promoter Vince McMahon, and all wrestlers involved with the most popular “sports entertainment” in the world.

“So, over the next few months, I will be showing up at surprise locations, doing unbilled, free sets, just to get some work in; to see what works and what doesn’t, what I should and shouldn’t tweak, and what ideas just flat out suck,” Foley said in his personal blog.
